Eyebrow Tinting
Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows.
“Tinting allows a professional to manipulate the brow area by darkening the fine hairs that surround the perimeter of the brow to increase the width, “It also allows the specialist to darken the fine hairs in the inner core of the brow that are in less dense areas.
This creates a longer brow line (brow tail) or fuller front and a more ideal shape.”The tint is made of semi-permanent dye or henna that is mixed to match your existing shade. “It gives the appearance of thicker, more youthful-looking brows.

How Long Does it Take?
Takes only about 15 minutes. First, you'll consult with a specialist to discuss how full and natural you want your brows to look. Then the specialist will prep the area, cleaning the brows and applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly around them to prevent any accidental skin staining. The dye is then mixed and carefully applied, first in the direction of how your brow hairs grow and then a second layer is applied in the opposite direction. The dye is left on for a few minutes to attain optimal color, then any excess is removed with a damp paper towel. Don't freak out if you see dye on the skin underneath your brows: this will wash away after a day or two. It might be a good idea to schedule your first appointment on a Friday, so you can monitor the results over the weekend.
Who Is Eyebrow Tinting Best For?
Eyebrow tinting works on skin types, skin tones, and hair colors. If you’re trying to tint grey or white hair though, the process is a little trickier. Grey hair is more resistant and tends to be stubborn, so you might need to adjust the process a bit.
How Soon Will You See Results?
You’ll want to avoid getting your brows wet for 12 hours after getting the treatment done and to clean around the area with gel or cream-based cleansers. “Your brows will stand out and look fuller right away.” You can cut back on the multiple brow products in your beauty routine.” The tint lasts anywhere from three to six weeks. To maintain color, we suggests coming in every four to six weeks for touch-ups. Avoid exfoliating or use of any oil-based products in that area as it will cause the tint to fade faster. ISO recommends avoiding any products that might further irritate the thin eyebrow skin, such as retinoids and retinols. We recommend to apply a thin layer of Vaseline to the surrounding skin as a form of protective barrier between the dye and your skin. ISO likes to recommend using something like castor or almond oil to create the same protective barrier on the brow and to help the tint from fading too fast.
Eyebrow tinting is something that is done at a salon by a specialist. Eyebrow tinting is pretty much dying your eyebrow to match your hair color. You should never try this at home because the time to keep on tint is much short and dye has to be place just right or you will have dye makes above and below your eyebrows.

Henna Brow Colour
What exactly is Henna Brow Colour?
Henna is a plant that grows in high-temperature surroundings of 35 degrees and up. Its leaves are crushed into a powder, which is then used for cosmetic staining and dyeing. Henna has been a fashion and beauty staple since ancient Egyptian times, when noblewomen used it as makeup, hair dye, and clothing dye.
At ARDOUR Brows & Lashes, we use plant-based henna to colour your brow hairs and skin, giving the impression of fullness and depth and hiding any sparseness in the brow area. It lasts longer than regular eyebrow tinting and leaves your brows looking bold, thick, and beautiful.
Although the application process is similar to traditional Indian henna colouring, body henna is not used for brows. The shades we use are specially formulated for your brows. Because it is 100% natural, with no added chemicals, henna brow treatments are completely safe for most people.
But that’s not all—Henna comes in a range of stain options to suit your individual look!

Hybrid Brow Colour
Say hello to the new beauty service on the block – Hybrid Brow Tint. It’s a Brow Tint, but better than a regular Tint with similar results to Henna… Intrigued? We thought you would be!
What is it?
It is an innovative gel dye with similar intense and long-lasting effects as Henna. It is highly pigmented, stains sparse brows and suits most skin types. It can give a dramatic or natural look, with 7 colours to mix together for your perfect match. Hybrid Brow Tint has no Ammonia. Eyelashes can also be tinted with Hybrid (more to come on that later).
How long does it last?
It lasts approx. 7 days on the skin and 7 weeks on the hair (low maintenance dreams!). Results vary and depend on various individual factors.
What’s the process?
Firstly, you will have a discussion with the technician to decide on the best colour match and shape for you. Your brows will then be gently cleaned before being mapped. Mapping your brows ensures your brows are the ideal shape for your face. The Hybrid Tint will be applied and left to set for 10-20 minutes before being removed.
How does it compare to regular Brow Tint & Brow Henna?
Regular Brow Tint does not stain the skin and lasts on the hair for up to 2 weeks. Hybrid Brow Tint will well out-last this. As mentioned above, it’s closest to Henna in terms of its intenseness and how long it lasts; Henna lasts up to 14 days on the skin and up to 4-6 weeks on the hair whereas Hybrid Tint lasts up to 7 days on the skin and 7 weeks on the hair). The main benefit in Hybrid Tint compared to Henna, is the convenience. You can achieve a natural looking brow after just 10 minutes of having the tint on. For a bolder brow (more of a brow-tattoo look), Hybrid Tint can be left on for up to 10-20 minutes. After the Hybrid Tint is wiped off, the colour continues to develop.
Is Hybrid Tint for me?
Hybrid Tint is for women with thin, sparse brows seeking instant fullness. In saying this, women with extremely sparse looking brows may not be suitable candidates (Brow Tint or Brow Henna may be more suitable in this instance). Those with healthy skin types which is not too oily also fit the criteria perfectly. Whether you’re after a very soft, natural looking brow or more of a bold, brow-tattoo effect, Hybrid Tint can achieve these results.
Do you recommend any services prior to or after Hybrid Tint?
Waxing to tidy them up prior to applying the Hybrid Tint to really enhance the results.

Lash Tinting
What does lash tint do?
Think of lash tinting as a semi-permanent dye job for your lashes. Tinting won’t add curl, length, or volume to your lashes (you’ll need to try a lash lift or lash extensions for that), but it will darken and intensify their color with permanent, cream-based dyes.
Is a Lash tint worth it?
If you have naturally light or blonde lashes, you’ll definitely see the most dramatic difference with an eyelash tint. If you have naturally dark lashes you may not see a super-huge difference in your lash color post-tint. Slightly darker, slightly fuller, but not a major difference. Tinting makes your lashes look slightly longer and thicker as a result.
How long does Lash tinting take?
Literally tinting your eyelashes is so fast—the dye is painted on, then sits on your lashes for just 1o-15 minutes. From start to finish, the whole thing takes just 30 minute.
Does Lash tinting hurt?
No, it definitely doesn’t hurt, but it does feel a teeny bit uncomfortable during the process. A little protective shields that are pressed up against your lash line during the treatment, coupled with the fact that anything on/near your eyes just feels weird. But the whole thing is so quick and speedy.
